Pierre Dion Appointed President and Chief Executive
Officer of TVA Group Inc.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 30, 2005) - Mr. Jean Neveu,
Chairman of the Board of TVA Group Inc. (TSX:TVA.NV.B), announces the
appointment of Mr. Pierre Dion to the position of President and Chief
Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Dion has been Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer of TVA Group since September 2004.
He succeeds Mr. Serge Gouin, who had been serving as President and Chief
Executive Officer on an interim basis since June 2004. Mr. Gouin remains
a Director of TVA Group.

"Having previously occupied the same position from 1987 to 1991, Mr.
Gouin was able to bring TVA the benefit of his vast experience," said
Mr. Neveu. "I am very pleased that we will be able to continue availing
ourselves of his sound advice as a member of the Board."

With respect to the appointment of Pierre Dion, Mr. Neveu commented:
"Since his arrival at TVA, Mr. Dion has demonstrated the leadership and
energy required for the position to which the Board appointed him today.
We are confident that Pierre Dion is the person the Company needs in
order to tackle the many challenges it faces."

Mr. Dion expressed strong optimism about the future: "Our share of the
conventional television audience is holding at a level that is unique in
the North American market. Our specialty channels are growing quickly.
Our magazines continue to rank first in the Quebec market and we have
just entered the Toronto market. There are many challenges ahead but the
current management team has demonstrated its competence and its ability
to use every challenge as a springboard."

Before joining TVA Group, Mr. Dion served as President and Chief
Executive Officer of one of Canada's largest publishers. Prior to that,
he occupied various executive positions at Videotron between 1990 and
1996.
