NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2013) - Piksel, a global provider of 'over-the-top' video monetization software and solutions, has announced the appointment of Daniel Thunberg as Senior Vice President Commercial, EMEA / APAC and Mitch Askenas as Senior Vice President Commercial, Americas.

Mr. Thunberg joined Piksel 18 months ago, after over a decade with Irdeto, and has been promoted from the role of SVP Sales - APAC. Experienced in creating and executing successful strategies in sales, account management, partnerships, and business development, Mr. Thunberg is an expert in the broadcast, OTT and multi-screen space.

Prior to joining Piksel, Mr. Askenas was Director of Business Development at Miranda Technologies, responsible for delivering digital TV management and monitoring solutions to top cable and IPTV operators worldwide.
