Pilat HR Solutions Welcomes New Investors; Well Positioned for Continued Global Expansion

WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ--(Marketwire - Jul 19, 2011) - Pilat HR Solutions, a premier provider of human capital management technology and professional services, today announced details of its slate of new investors and appointments. Headed by Haggai Alon, former advisor to the Minister of Defense of Israel and CEO of the economic consulting firm, MAOF, the group consists of prominent executives with significant track records of successful investments.

Included in this group is Shlomo Braun, owner and manager of SAB Investment Group, LLC. Among his many accomplishments, Braun served as Head of Human Resources, Logistics and Procurement and as a Member of the Management Board at Bank Hapoalim BM. Other investors include Gil Shelly, former manager of an Israeli-based hedge fund, Yisrael Efrat, Treasurer of Histadrut Labor Federation in Israel and Omri Kohl, Chairman & CEO at Kohl Group Ltd.

Haggai Alon said, "We see a huge potential in the combination of HR and technology." He continued, "We sought to invest in a company that had extensive expertise in HR, software development and possessed an international presence. Pilat met these criteria and has a lot of growth potential. The company's solid foundation, loyal client-base and capability to create customer enterprise software made it our logical choice."

Pilat HR Solutions develops client-specific software solutions that are delivered using in-house and SaaS models using the company's HR Pulse Application Development Platform. Unlike the "Big 4" Human Capital Management (HCM) technology vendors' toolkits, HR Pulse offers an open migration path to legacy HCM systems and the capability to make changes that address fluctuating business requirements. Pilat's solutions are ideal for organizations seeking to protect their legacy system assets when faced with "sunsetting" or software obsolescence. Additionally, HR Pulse creates functionality on top of core code, allowing for rapid deployment of client-unique systems without the risks and costs associated with traditional custom software implementations.

Haggai Alon is Deputy CEO of Pilat Technologies and Business Development. Shlomo Braun is Chairman of International Relations and CEO of Pilat HR Solutions. Investors Braun, Shelly and Efrat hold director positions on Pilat's board. Gadi Lotan, former General Director of Histadrut Labor Federation in Israel, was elected as the CEO of Pilat Technologies by Pilat's board of directors.

Shlomo Braun commented, "Pilat has a bright future. We've identified opportunities for the acquisition of new clients as well as other companies with synergistic solutions. Our investment in Pilat will be used to deepen the company's sales and marketing functions and to continue to expand the product offerings through additional R&D."
