BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Dec 5, 2012) - Pine Manor College (PMC) in Chestnut Hill, MA, one of the most diverse liberal arts women's colleges in the nation, announced today it has signed a new ten-year contractual partnership with Prime Education and Training (UK) Ltd. to attract and serve more international students. The new contract extends a previous five year contract established in 2011, designed to help recruit academically qualified international students to attend the school.

Hurwitz, Ph.D. "Through this collaboration we will bring an expanded international perspective into our classrooms, which is a critical component to creating a vibrant learning environment."
Pine Manor College anticipates enrollment of over 100 new full-time residential students as well as increased numbers of students in English language programs, throughout the regular academic year and also in the summer of 2013. The school also expects the agreement to produce revenues in excess of $30 million.
Students can pursue a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree or enroll in the University Foundation Pathway Program, which is designed to transition students directly to their sophomore year of an undergraduate degree. Associate level degrees are available to both women and men but bachelor degrees are available only to women.
Prime Education and Training (UK) Ltd. specializes in English language training courses and university preparation courses which equip international students for the linguistic and academic demands of leading English-speaking universities. Students enrolled in the co-ed University Foundation Pathway Program will take the same academic courses as regular Pine Manor students, but will receive special English-language training and academic study skills as well.

As part of the partnership, Pine Manor has leased a dedicated facility to Prime Education and Training (UK) Ltd. to operate its own English language training school on the campus. This partnership is also facilitating the investment in infrastructural and technological upgrades to position Pine Manor as a state of the art undergraduate learning community.
