Pinetree Capital Ltd. Acquires Securities of Manitex Capital Inc.

TORONTO, CANADA--(Marketwired - Aug. 29, 2014) - Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX:PNP), announces that on August 28, 2014, it acquired ownership of 22,500 common shares ("Common Shares") of Manitex Capital Inc. ("Manitex") through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange, representing approximately 0.2% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Manitex as of August 28, 2014. As a result of this transaction, Pinetree and its joint actors collectively held, as at August 28, 2014, an aggregate of 2,277,406 common shares of Manitex, including the Common Shares, or approximately 18.4% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Manitex as of August 28, 2014. Of these totals, Pinetree owns 2,122,406 common shares, including the Common Shares, directly, or approximately 17.2% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Manitex as of August 28, 2014.

These transactions were made for investment purposes and Pinetree and its joint actors could increase or decrease their investment in Manitex depending on market conditions or any other relevant factor.
