Gipson comes to the firm with 13 years of industry knowledge, training employees of all levels and positions within an organization. Based in Atlanta, she reports to Beth Luques, national education director.
"Sarah has a well-rounded knowledge of all different aspects of the multifamily industry, which is very important to her role as a trainer," said Luques. Gipson began her career onsite as a multifamily professional and worked in a variety of leasing and management roles prior to becoming a trainer. During this time she developed a keen understanding of property operations and the specialized talents required for each position. Her experience formulated around a range of assets, including both conventional and affordable communities, while working at AIMCO, Lyon Property Management and Lincoln Property Company.
In 2011, Gipson became a regional training director at Lincoln Property Company where she took responsibility for rolling out new company initiatives and training for employees across five states. There, she drew on her skills as a Certified Coach Practitioner to lead continual staff improvement efforts by creating new course material and becoming actively involved in the revival of outdated courses.
