DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - March 18, 2016) - Pinnacle, one of the nation's leading multifamily management firms, announced today that Tom Klaess joined the company as a regional vice president presiding over 11,554 apartment homes throughout Colorado with a concentration in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and the Mountain region. Klaess reports to Woody Stone, executive vice president of Pinnacle's Eastern Division.
Subsequent to his hire, Pinnacle was awarded management for 17 new assets in Colorado from a single client, representing a 100 percent increase in operations. Klaess provides oversight for this expanded regional portfolio and a growing team of professionals from Pinnacle's Denver office located at 5975 South Quebec Street, Suite 135, in the Denver Tech Center.

Bringing over 30 years of experience to the firm, Klaess is a known multifamily expert working with all product types. He most recently joined Pinnacle from Laramar Communities where he worked as the Chief Operating Officer. Klaess also held key executive positions at Archstone Communities and National Housing Partnership. Active in the industry, he currently serves as a National Multifamily Housing Council Board Member.

- Jill Friesen has 25 years of experience spanning multiple submarkets from Colorado Springs through the Denver metropolitan area. Her portfolio includes one affordable housing community as well as six other conventional assets totaling 1,876 units.
- Angela Gordon lends 20 years of experience to her clients, specializing in employee housing in the Rocky Mountain region. Her ten-property portfolio is located throughout Eagle and Summit Counties, which are home to some of Colorado's most popular ski resorts.
- Liz Farr is a new addition to the team bringing 21 years of experience from multiple submarkets throughout the Denver metropolitan area. Her portfolio of six conventional assets and 2,741 units is concentrated in the south and east Denver areas.
- Amy Cooley recently joined the team with 20 years of experience specializing in 'A' quality mid-rise properties. Her portfolio of 2,081 units in the downtown Denver and north central Denver markets includes both conventional and affordable housing as well as mixed-use residential and retail communities.
- Lindsey Shepard is also a recent addition to Pinnacle with 12 years of experience within multiple Denver area submarkets, including Boulder. Her portfolio is comprised one student property and five other conventional communities that make up 1,811 units.
