Pinnacle Ingredients & Flavors Inc. Can Count on the Financial Support of the Government of Canada to Enhance its Productivity

BAIE-D'URFÉ, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 2, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Pinnacle Ingredients & Flavors Inc. has been awarded financial assistance to acquire equipment that will help increase its productivity.

"The Government of Canada has decided to support Pinnacle Ingredients & Flavors Inc.'s acquisition project because it will result in greater productivity, preserve jobs and maintain the firm's standing on international markets," stated Minister Lebel.

To pursue its growth, the company, which specializes in the manufacture of spices, herbs and seasoning mixes, needs to acquire a steam sterilization system, which will enable it to ensure better safety of its products, and thus keep its customers and maintain market share.

This $360,193 repayable contribution is awarded under Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program.
