Pinnacle Sports Announces Open Enrollment for Fall and Winter Baseball and Softball Training Programs

New Members of Coaching Staff Sign on to Develop Athletes for Life

MEDINA, OH--(Marketwire - October 13, 2009) - Pinnacle Sports in Medina and Twinsburg is now enrolling student athletes in its baseball and softball programs for Session I that begins Thursday, October 29, 2009. The programs combine skills coaching with Pinnacle's mission of intentionally integrating character into sports and the lives of young athletes.

Classes offered during the eight-week session cover baseball ( and softball ( introductory programs for little tots (ages 3-5) and skills training and game play for grade school through high school students.

Under the direction of Baseball Program Administrator Steve Wright, Baseball Coordinator Bill Goddard and Director of Softball Glenn McCoy, new and veteran coaches for both programs will expose young athletes to every aspect of the games. Like all coaches at Pinnacle Sports, baseball and softball staff members are trained through the Coaching4Life program that helps them develop the mental, social and spiritual side of young players as well as the skills of the game.

Members of the baseball staff are Baseball Administrator Steve Wright, Baseball Coordinators Bill Goddard (Medina) and Ken Stuursma (Twinsburg) and coaches Drew Saylor, Josh Nice, John Ventura, Todd Neice and Mark Eger. Members of the softball staff are Director Glenn McCoy and coaches Tracee McCoy, Sara Zilles, Jana Jenkins, Julie Boyce and Jaclyn Spirtos. Local high school athletes who serve as junior coaches will be assisting the senior Pinnacle coaching staff.
