Pipedrive Hires Steve Oriola as New CEO to Drive Growth

Brings 20 Plus Years of Start-Up, Operational Experience

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 2, 2015) - Pipedrive, a maker of simple, intuitive sales software for small businesses, announced that it has appointed Steve Oriola as the company's new CEO. 

Oriola will help Pipedrive scale its operations in the U.S. and worldwide. He will commence his new position effective immediately, based at Pipedrive's U.S. headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif.

Oriola will drive Pipedrive's growth leveraging 20 plus years of experience helping early stage technology companies scale their operations. This includes 15 years working with cloud-based companies. His experience includes Constant Contact where he served for ten years in several roles, including VP of business development, VP of product and general manager. He joined Constant Contact in its early stage when the company had less than 30 employees and participated in its 2007 I.P.O. Prior to joining Pipedrive, Oriola was the CEO of Crossboard Mobile, an ad-tech company, as well as served in a variety of senior executive roles at marketing services companies including Balihoo and Brightcove

As CEO of Pipedrive, Oriola will focus on operations, sales and marketing, business development and new markets. Timo Rein, co-founder and former CEO, will serve as president of the company where he will focus on product, engineering, infrastructure, integrations and support services.
