Password Authentication Expert Adds to Its Portfolio of Enterprise-Level Customers in Consumer Products, Education and Banking and Financial Services

AMHERST, NH--(Marketwire - March 11, 2008) - PistolStar, Inc., provider of password management solutions integrating Microsoft Active Directory®, enterprise single sign-on and strong authentication, today announces recent major sales and deployments of Password Power 8, its framework of plug-ins for optimizing authentication to multiple enterprise applications.

The new customers include three organizations from diverse vertical industries in which PistolStar has established a foothold and proven the power of its solutions: PNC Financial Services Group, Henkel KGaA and Clovis (CA) Unified School District. PNC and Henkel are worldwide-based enterprise companies. Installation of Password Power will allow these organizations to reduce logons and end-user passwords to a single set of credentials, simplify password management by giving IT staff only one set of password policies to manage, decrease Help Desk calls for password resets, and increase productivity for both end-users and administrators.

PNC Financial Services Group, one of the largest financial services companies in the U.S., purchased the Password Power Plug-Ins for Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino and Lotus Sametime Connect to facilitate single sign-on and password recovery via integration with Active Directory. PistolStar also enables PNC to integrate its Lotus environment with CA eTrust antivirus software. PNC has deployed Password Power to 30,000 users across its global enterprise. Based in Pittsburgh, PA with a history dating to the 1800s, PNC offers a wide range of banking services to individuals, small businesses, corporations and government entities from around the world.

Henkel KGaA, a global consumer products and technologies company based in Dusseldorf, Germany, has purchased the Password Power Plug-Ins for Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino and Lotus Sametime Connect to achieve single sign-on to Lotus Notes via smart card and single sign-on to Domino and Sametime via Kerberos. Henkel will benefit from PistolStar's support for single sign-on with its upcoming enterprise-wide smart card deployment. The company is deploying Password Power to 38,000 employees based worldwide. Henkel operates three global business sectors: laundry and home care, cosmetics and toiletries, and adhesive technologies for consumer and industrial applications.

Clovis Unified School District, a K-12 public school system serving the cities of Clovis and Fresno, California, and neighboring communities, purchased the Password Power Plug-Ins for Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino to enable password recovery and password synchronization of the Notes ID and Domino HTTP passwords with Active Directory.
