Piston Named One of the Top 10 Best Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area

Company Recognized as a Best Place to Work by Piston Employees, the San Francisco Business Times, and the Silicon Valley Business Journal

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2014) - Piston Cloud Computing, Inc., the enterprise OpenStack® company, today announced that it has been recognized by the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley Business Journal and its employees as one of the Best Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area. Piston received this acknowledgement based upon the company's management leadership style and philosophy, benefits and perks, opportunity for employee growth, and overall compensation.

The Best Places to Work awards recognize the top 125 employers in five categories based on company size. The extra-small company category, where Piston received its designation, is defined as organizations with 25-50 employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Companies were ranked using a variety of workplace satisfaction criteria by an independent rating agency, Quantum Workplace.

"If you meet our team, you will probably remember the hats, bow ties, outlandish metaphors and generally quirky and whimsical style. It's why we attract top talent to work (and stay) at Piston," said Jim Morrisroe. "Our focus lies in connecting with our customers, creating a unique experience, and being authentic. We aren't afraid to stand out in a sea of companies all doing it the same old way and that is really what makes Piston a great place to work."
