Piston Strengthens Executive Team With New Vice President of Finance & Operations

Technology Veteran Joe Russell to Help Piston Meet Customers' Evolving Platform and Technology Needs

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 3, 2015) - Piston Cloud Computing Inc., a pioneer in web-scale infrastructure management software, today announced that Joe Russell has joined the company as vice president of finance and operations. A seasoned executive with over 15 years of expertise in enterprise software and consumer internet companies, Russell will be responsible for managing Piston's finances as the company assists customers cost effectively capitalize on emerging datacenter trends.

Prior to VMware, Russell held Corporate Development and Business Operations roles at Yahoo! and worked in mergers and acquisitions banking at GCA SAvvian and Credit Suisse First Boston.
