PIXmania becomes first online retail outlet to offer Skype's full product range

Pan-European partnership agreement announced at PIXmania Focus Partner Event

PIXmania, the leader for internet sales of consumers electronic goods within Europe, has become the first online retail outlet to offer the full product portfolio from Skype, the world leader for internet communication. The pan-European partnership agreement for trade and marketing will see PIXmania offer the range of Skype products across seven countries in Europe.

As part of the partnership, PIXmania has created a dedicated area on the PIXmania website (www.pixmania.com), where customers will have access to the complete range of products certified by Skype, also offering unique "packages" and offers exclusive to PIXmania customers. PIXmania customers can also expect access to exclusive Skype information and breaking news on Skype's latest solutions and offerings.

The seven European countries covered by the agreement are Denmark, Estonia, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. In each of these countries, PIXmania customers will have access to Skype's universe through the PIXmania website. They will be able to discover, compare and buy the complete range of products certified by Skype, including headphones, earphones, USB telephones and wireless telephones. Customers can also access educational information on Skype and its uses.

The partnership means that consumers can now use PIXmania's website as a 'one-stop shop' for all Skype products and services. The web area dedicated to Skype is organised into 3 headings: Your first steps with Skype - which contains information of the "Skype solution" and its use; More Skype - which gives access to Skype's paying services, to the entire range of products certified by Skype and to "packages" with PIXmania's offers; News about Skype - which gathers all the product news in Skype's portfolio, a tool that is constantly updated. Customers are able to study and compare all the products of the range, with the benefit of feedback from a large number of customer's in video format.
