Placeable Taps Industry Veteran Andrew Thackray to Lead Its Global Sales Team

Andrew joins as head of sales, and is tasked with bringing Placeable's local marketing solution to top enterprise retailers, financial institutions, restaurants and more.

Prior to Placeable, Andrew was vice president of sales at edo, the leader in the card-linked offers space, using consumer spend data to deliver precision targeted offers and incentives to Fortune 500 retailers. Andrew also ran sales strategy and regional sales for Nokia's Navteq mapping unit, launching Nokia's location-based advertising platform in the US. Andrew directed mobile operations and advertising at Tribune Company and before that, spent over a decade as a strategy and management consultant with Booz & Company, Aon Consulting and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
