Planet82 Exhibits How to Take Digital Pictures in the Dark Without a Flash at CES 2007 January 8-11, 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 2, 2007 --

WHAT: Please join Planet82 at CES as they shed light on taking digital pictures or video in the dark -- without a flash. Planet82 will showcase the latest advances in its Single carrier Modulation Photo Detector (SMPD) technology, including a black and white, full-color, and two mega pixel color sensors. These imaging sensors are 2000 times more sensitive to light and enable everything digital -- from mobile camera phones to the automobile sensors -- to "see" and capture the real picture without the distortion, delay or energy-expense of a flash.

WHY: This is one of those "shouldn't be missed" opportunities to see cutting-edge, digital imaging sensor nanotechnology in action. Planet82 will demonstrate the world's first full-color, high resolution imaging chip, showcasing how it works in Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and night-vision automobile applications.

WHERE: International Consumer Electronics Show 2007, Sands Convention Center, Innovations Plus Booth #70600. To see a map to the booth, please visit
