PlanGraphics Selected to Update Reno's GIS Plan

FRANKFORT, KY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 27, 2005 -- PlanGraphics, Inc. (OTC: PGRA) has been selected to update the City of Reno, Nevada's strategic geographic information system (GIS) plan. Reno's current plan, which was completed in mid-1998, was also prepared by PlanGraphics.

The GIS plan update will consider the numerous data development and mapping program accomplishments that have been realized by the City over nearly seven years since implementation of the original plan began, including the Internet MapServer developed by the City's GIS Department to provide information through a single easy-to-use interface. The MapServer integrates 155 data layers with a consolidated spatial database to reduce city operational expenses and more quickly serve information to the public. Opportunities to expand use of GIS by various City agencies and recommendations on additional steps and activities to meet the City's current and emerging business needs for GIS will be included in the new Plan. The revised plan will be developed over a four-month period and involve extensive input from multiple City agencies.
