Plantronics Expands Cloud Solutions to Ensure Better Communications and Collaboration

Today, Plantronics (NYSE: PLT) updated Plantronics Manager Pro℠ and Plantronics Manager, their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, and released version 3.5 of Plantronics Hub to help meet these challenges. Now enterprise IT managers and end users have the most technically advanced solutions on the market, giving them full control, visibility and manageability of audio devices for a better communications and collaboration experience.

The Plantronics Manager Pro and Plantronics Manager Cloud services provide IT with a one-stop tool for unparalleled audio device management, monitoring and user support. Plantronics Manager Pro v3.5 is a cloud service that customers and partners can use to deploy and manage Plantronics communication devices, whereas Plantronics Manager is a cloud service that stores user data on premises. Both include new and improved reporting, making these the first audio device management tools to provide enterprise IT managers with real-time control and visibility into their audio environment. In addition, both solutions feature a new user experience that simplifies the administration of audio devices, so customers can easily deploy all client software and device firmware upgrades, enable or disable device settings according to company policy or for regulatory compliance, and quickly and consistently provision devices. Having architectures that offer cloud and on-premise data storage means customers can choose the right tools for their business.

For end users, Plantronics Hub v3.5 has been updated to provide them even more control over their Plantronics audio device setting, creating a highly customized audio communications experience. This software enhances the user experience by providing features such as visible mute status, battery status, and enabling device-level call control with call answer/disconnect, mute and volume adjustment capabilities. By providing more control over the Plantronics audio device, end users can be more productive and feel satisfied with the audio device assigned to them.
