Plateau Systems Positioned in "Leaders Quadrant" of the 2011 Magic Quadrant for Employee Performance Management

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - Gartner, Inc. has positioned Plateau in the Leaders Quadrant of its recently released "Magic Quadrant for Employee Performance Management."* A segment of the broader Talent Management Suite market, Gartner's view of employee performance management (EPM) software includes performance, succession and compensation management capabilities. The report evaluated vendors based on Gartner's assessment of their "Ability to Execute" and "Completeness of Vision." Plateau is positioned as a Leader in both the Employee Performance Management and Corporate Learning Systems Magic Quadrants.

Gartner evaluated the performance management, career and succession planning, and total compensation management functionality of Plateau's unified Talent Management Suite for the Magic Quadrant. According to the report, "Integrated EPM deployments continue to grow, and customers are increasingly implementing EPM solutions enterprisewide." Gartner also noted the growing acceptance of the software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model for EMP solutions.

The percentage of Plateau's SaaS customer base also continues to grow, with over 90 percent of new platform bookings being SaaS deployments in the second half of fiscal year 2010 (ended February 28, 2011).
