Platinum Research Organization Selects New Directors and Strengthens Management Team as Company Goes Public

Thomas Plaskett Named Chairman and John T. (Cork) Jaeger Appointed, President and CEO; Allan McArtor, Dr. Michael McMillan, Arnold Burns, Ben DuPont and Theodore Brombach Join Board of Directors

DALLAS, TX and VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 13, 2006 -- Platinum Research Organization, Inc. (OTCBB: PLRO), a leader in the commercialization of patented, high-performance lubricants and coatings targeting the automotive, aviation, industrial and consumer aftermarket, announced the formation of a new board of directors to strengthen the management team as the company starts trading on the over-the-counter stock exchange.

Platinum's new board of directors is composed of seven prominent business leaders, including: Thomas G. Plaskett, serving as chairman of the board; John T. (Cork) Jaeger, Jr., serving as director, president and chief executive officer; T. Allan McArtor, Dr. Michael McMillan, Arnold I. Burns, Ben DuPont and Theodore J. Brombach.

An elite group of seasoned executives, PRO selected these individuals to serve due to the impressive accomplishments each has achieved during their respective careers. Thomas Plaskett, the former CEO of Pan Am and Continental Airlines, is the current chairman of Novell Corporation and a director of Radio Shack Corporation and Alcon, Inc. Allan McArtor is the current chairman of Airbus Industries North America. Dr. Michael McMillan is the former Chairman of the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC), and was manager of lubricant development activities at the General Motors Research and Development Center before retiring in 2005. Arnold Burns is the chairman of QuanStar Group and former Deputy Attorney General of the United States; Ben DuPont is chairman of yet2.com and a DuPont family member; Theodore Brombach is a former managing director of Morgan Stanley.

Cork Jaeger, a co-founding shareholder of Platinum Research Organization, will retain his position as president and CEO. Prior to the formation of PRO, Mr. Jaeger was chief executive officer of the Fairmont Company, the co-founding company of PRO. He also served as the chief executive officer of Scotts Valley Circuits, Inc.; vice president and general manager of Trans Pac Equipment Company; and, vice president, principal management participant and chief marketing officer for Great Lakes Diesel Company.
