Plaza Hotel & Casino Will Host 1st Casino Entertainment Awards

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Sep 5, 2013) - The first annual Casino Entertainment Awards at G2E will be presented Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 7:00 p.m., in the classic showroom at The Plaza Hotel & Casino, 1 Main Street, Downtown Las Vegas. Celebrity red carpet arrivals will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the awards show at 7:00 p.m.

Hosted by Emmy® award winning comedian Louie Anderson, the awards will honor outstanding entertainment professionals in the nationwide casino industry, including: Casino Entertainment Executive of the Year, Casino Showroom/Theater of the Year, Casino Arena/Amphitheater of the Year, Independent Casino Talent Buyer of the Year, Casino Booking Agent of the Year, Touring Comedian of the Year, Touring Musical Artist of the Year and Casino Entertainer of the Year.

The awards are an official event of G2E, the Global Gaming Expo, the world's largest annual gathering of casino entertainment executives. G2E is expected to attract an estimated 25,000 attendees to Las Vegas during the last week of September.
