PLS Dealmakers Kicks Off Wednesday, May 15 in Houston

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - May 13, 2013) - Oil and gas buyers, capital providers and explorers will be in Houston May 15 at the Hyatt Regency looking over the industry's latest oil and gas offerings and hearing from experts on the upstream market. Projects being sold include drilling and producing opportunities in some of the industry's hottest plays including the Eagle Ford, Mississippian, Niobrara, Bakken, Tuscaloosa, Wolfberry and Wolfbone. There are also producing properties for sale at the show as well as some conventional oil and gas drilling prospects in Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast, Midcontinent, Ark-La-Tex, and other projects in the Rockies and Appalachia.

On a regional basis, this week's expo will showcase a plethora of Gulf Coast packages including acreage, prospects and development packages. In Louisiana, the Miocene is taking center stage with prospects on offer in Jefferson Parish from Alpine Exploration, in St. Mary Parish from Icarus Oil & Gas (also with Pliocene potential) and Labay Exploration (also in Iberia Parish), and in Assumption and Terrebonne Parishes from Gordy Oil Co.

Also in Louisiana, Covington Exploration will show multiple prospects at Lake Boeuf field and in Jefferson Parish, and Altair Resources and Coastal Plains Exploration have prospects for sale targeting the Hackberry in Calcasieu Parish -- where Duncan Oil has two Yegua prospects. Also on offer are Cypress Production's Hutchinson, Cardinal and Big Lake prospects and a Vernon Parish royalty package from Principle Energy.

On the Texas side, Cameron Mineral Trusts has acreage for sale targeting the James Lime and Travis Peak in Angelina, Hardin and Tyler Cos. as well as a large Eagle Ford position in Trinity County and an additional multi-county acreage position. Hurd Enterprises' Southwest Cedar Brush prospect targets the Wilcox in Goliad Co., as do three prospects on offer from Hurd Enterprises in DeWitt, Live Oak Co. and McMullen Counties.

Esenjay Petroleum and McGovco LLC are showing several prospects across southeast Texas. Additionally, Lavaca Energy is offering a Glen Rose prospect in Fayette Co., Frio Pecan Farm LP has a prospect in the Frio trend in Nueces Co., and New Century Exploration has prospects targeting Attic oil in Galveston Co., Eagle Ford oil in Burleson Co., Middle Pettet oil in Harrison Co. and the Austin Chalk in Brazos County.

ZaZa Energy has a large acreage position targeting the Eagle Ford, Austin Chalk, Edwards and Buda in Lavaca and Colorado Cos. as well as its Dilley project targeting the same objectives in Frio County. A project on offer from Phere Energy targets the Vicksburg and Frio, as do a Mestena Operating prospect at Alta Mesa field and some of the McGovco packages. The Vicksburg is also the primary target of Woodstone Resources prospects in Chambers and Galveston Cos., while the company's Jones Creek prospect in Wharton Co. targets the Yegua and Cook Mountain. Woodstone is also offering shallow oil prospects in Henderson and Cherokee Counties. Texoz E&P's Mosman-Rockingham project in McMullen Co. targets the Olmos, East Texas Oil & Gas is offering a multi-county Eaglebine interest, and Holifield Energy has an Austin Chalk recompletion program for sale in Lee County. Another East Texas oil prospect is on offer from Tatonka LLC in Leon and Freestone Counties.

Moving farther west into the heart of South Texas, Zaragoza has Pearsall Arch and Old Buzzard production for sale, as well as a Navarro and Olmos prospect in Webb County.

Even farther west, the Permian beckons with Wolfcamp, Cline and Strawn royalty interests from Yakka Acquisitions, Grayburg prospects from Black Mountain Exploration, San Andres acreage from Cameron Mineral Trusts, and Cline, Strawn Lime and Ellenburger packages from Fairchild Petroleum Interests. Another Ellenburger acreage deal is being shown by Maverick Royalty, and Rawhide Ranches' Jeff Davis prospect is for sale targeting the Avalon and Wolfcamp. Finally, Porvenir Exploration is offering a large prospect targeting the Olmos, Eagle Ford and Edwards Lime.

Moving to North Texas, DDD Exploration is showing a Granite Wash prospect in Hartley Co. and US Energy Development Corp. has acreage for sale targeting the Caddo, Marble Falls and Barnett in Jack and Montague Counties. Also in the Mid-Continent region, Deep Creek Resources is offering prospects in Nebraska targeting the basal Wolfcamp.

And up in the Rockies, a number of large prospects and acreage positions are available including a large drill-to-earn oil opportunity in the Piceance Basin from Dejour Energy, a contiguous acreage position in the northern Piceance Basin from Laramie Energy II LLC, a Niobrara/Codell prospect in central Colorado from Preferred Oil & Gas Properties, and a Cherokee/Marmaton/Atoka prospect in the DJ Basin from Black Mountain.

The big packages continue into Montana where Deep Creek has an Alberta Bakken prospect and Petroshale Energy is offering a Heath prospect in the Judith Basin. Another large prospect targets the Shannon in South Dakota from White Eagle Exploration.

In the mid-sized range are a prospect targeting oil-saturated sands in southwest Wyoming from Phoenix Oil & Gas and a Bakken-Three Forks acreage package in the Williston Basin from Onshore Energy Partners. And for those looking for a smaller piece of the Rockies there are Niobrara/Greenhorn prospects in the DJ Basin from White Eagle, acreage in an emerging southeast Colorado oil play being marketed by PLS, and a Middle Bakken leasehold in North Dakota from Renegade Petroleum.

Toward the West Coast, Phoenix has a number of projects and prospects to show in Nevada, and across the country is a Utica royalty package from Principle. Finally, Inland Royalty has an offshore prospect for sale in the shallow-water Gulf of Mexico.
