Plumas Bank Brings Added Value to the Susanville Indian Rancheria Corporation by Working Together to Build, Renovate and Create Jobs for the Local Community

QUINCY, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2011) - Plumas Bank, a subsidiary of Plumas Bancorp (NASDAQ: PLBC), and the Susanville Indian Rancheria Corporation (SIRCO) enjoy working together to help build and renovate the local community.

The Susanville Indian Rancheria Corporation (SIRCO) is wholly owned by the federally recognized Susanville Indian Rancheria of Susanville, CA. It manages business in real estate & housing, retail & distribution, gaming & hospitality, and government contracting. SIRCO is currently developing future business enterprises in energy, IT, construction, manufacturing, security, and various military installation support operations.

Robert Kennedy, Chief Executive Officer of SIRCO, commented, "Working with Maria Nye, the vice president and branch manager of the Plumas Bank office in Susanville, has been a win-win experience for SIRCO and the building contractors." He explained, "When Maria learned that we had building and renovating projects planned she immediately offered her networking abilities to provide a list of local contractors in the region that would be the right fit for our building and renovating opportunities. She scheduled meetings and offered ideas."

Maria introduced SIRCO to numerous local, licensed, general contractors and they competitively bid on several SIRCO building projects. Skip Jones, owner of RSJ Design & Construction and a customer of Plumas Bank, earned several bids. He has constructed improvements to the Rancheria's mini-mart, completed substantial work on their 18,000 square foot military building in Herlong, and he built their new Smoke Shop.

Skip Jones remarked, "The knowledge and expertise I receive from Plumas Bank's manager and lending department have been an invaluable asset to my business. With Plumas Bank's help RSJ Design & Construction has grown and prospered. I highly recommend Plumas Bank to all our clients -- each and every time the banking relationships have worked out successfully."

Kennedy concluded, "While we know we could certainly bank with any of the bigger banks that have established Indian Tribal offerings, we prefer banking with Plumas Bank, a local, community bank that truly understands our needs. On a daily basis, Plumas Bank's entire staff goes the extra mile and demonstrates their commitment to our company's success. We are very pleased with our banking relationship with Plumas Bank, and commend Maria Nye on her continuing interest in the economic health of SIRCO and the community as a whole."
