QUINCY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 12, 2007 -- Plumas Bank (NASDAQ: PLBC) today announced that its application to establish a commercial bank branch in Redding, California has been approved by the FDIC and other regulatory authorities. The temporary office, located at 1320 Yuba Street, Suite 104, will open in early June and the permanent office is expected to open in the fall. Experienced banker and long-time resident of Redding, Elizabeth Gowen, has been hired as vice president and branch manager of the Company's thirteenth full-service office.

Doug Biddle, president and chief executive officer of the bank, commented, "After carefully reviewing the area, it seemed only natural to direct our growth toward a community with a dynamic and vibrant business economy. We plan to be a valuable asset to the Redding community."
