Plutonic Power Announces Public Open House Meetings

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 16, 2006) - Plutonic Power Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PCC) is pleased to announce that it will be holding a number of Public Open House Meetings on the Sunshine Coast this week. These meetings are part of the requirements of the application process for an Environmental Assessment Certificate for the development of the East Toba River and Montrose Creek run of river green non-storage hydroelectric power projects. The Open House Meetings are intended to inform all members of the public about the Projects and to provide a forum under which the public learn first hand about the Projects and to provide a forum for comment. Copies of the Application as well as other information will be available for viewing at the Public Open House Meetings.

These meetings will be conducted at the times and locations as indicated below. All are welcome to attend:
