The TACP annual conference and vendor EXPO is an information, technology and equipment exhibition to update, expose and train law enforcement officials and command staff in an interactive atmosphere. The event is an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to demonstrate the latest technology and most innovative products and services, while meeting prospective customers and key police executives.

"We continue to raise market awareness for our drug detection products with law enforcement agencies across North America. The TACP conference and Expo is an ideal venue to demonstrate the safety, convenience and cost effectiveness of our Pocket ID2 detection device. The positive feedback and response from attendees at the event was very encouraging and generated significant leads for onsite demonstrations. We plan to attend other safety and security conferences over the coming months to build interest in our entire ID2 product line," stated John McConnell, director of outside sales for CDEX.

The Pocket ID2 allows law enforcement officers and other agencies to conveniently carry a handheld device that provides immediate access for testing of methamphetamines. The Pocket ID2 was developed with CDEX's patented technologies that detect and verify the presence of meth at the visible and prosecutable range. Test results are instantaneous and non-destructive and can be conducted without touching or disturbing the surfaces scanned, thus minimizing officer exposure and preserving the integrity of the sample substance for use as evidence. The innovative technology is designed for use in law enforcement, correctional facilities and other applications where definitive and immediate results are necessary. The company is currently developing the Pocket ID2 for testing of Cocaine and other illicit substances, which will further enhance and advance its capabilities in the future.
