BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwired - September 01, 2016) - Point Inside, the leading provider of digital in-store product location solutions for top retailers, announced today the addition of Patrick Giusti as Chief Revenue Officer, Brandon Ferguson as CFO, and Ricky Priory as VP of Retail Solutions, as well as the promotion of Keane Watterson to SVP of Retail Partner Success.
Founded in 2009 and profitable since 2011, Point Inside is poised for additional growth as more retailers look to connect the digital and physical shopping experiences by digitizing their stores. Mobile usage is a key part of the shopping journey from research to purchase and can boost in-store conversion anywhere from 4-8% when integrated with a digital store strategy. With the massive adoption of mobile technology, Point Inside brings analytics and use cases only previously available to the most advanced ecommerce platforms. Shopper marketing and customer loyalty programs are also poised for years of growth as they can now benefit from mobile usage in a fully digitized store thanks to Point Inside's platform, StoreMode™.
"Due to Point Inside's continued success, we are expanding our leadership team to better support marketing, deeper integrations with store systems and our partner engagement team," said Josh Marti, CEO and co-founder at Point Inside. "As we help our retailer partners unlock the full potential of mobile with our StoreMode™ platform, we see the need for our team members to not only understand retail, but also marketing and technology."
During Giusti's nine-year tenure at Oracle, he was key in building a high performance sales culture and bringing new technologies to market. Giusti will leverage his experience as a sales leader for Oracle's Marketing Cloud to scale Point Inside's sales and marketing departments in addition to onboarding additional retail partners. Giusti has also served as a member of Point Inside's strategic advisory board for several years.
"I have been entrenched in the retail technology industry for many years now, and I see a huge opportunity for in-store product location solutions," said Giusti. "While serving on Point Inside's advisory board, I was inspired by the company's passionate, enthusiastic team and impressed by the innovative solutions they developed. I look forward to working alongside them to drive growth and customer success."
"Patrick's extensive expertise in driving high performing retail and SaaS sales programs will enable Point Inside to reach the next phase in growth," said Marti. "Giusti is a seasoned veteran and I am confident he will successfully support our retail partners from initial interest to implementation."
Prior to Point Inside, Brandon Ferguson worked as CFO and director of operations for PicMonkey. He has also served as an advisor for numerous Seattle startups. Joining the team in 2009 as senior product manager, his technological know-how and partnercentric focus have been huge contributors to the current status of Point Inside as a leader in the market. In his new role, he will apply these same traits to lead the business operations team and oversee our cloud infrastructure on behalf of our partners.
