Point Reyes Management, LLC Expands Team to Support Growth in Multifamily Real Estate and Super Angel Fund

SAUSALITO, CA--(Marketwired - March 11, 2016) -  Point Reyes Management is pleased to announce the hiring of Lynn Sapadin, CPA and Matt Esh, CFA to add to the firm's capabilities in real estate, super angel investing and the financial markets.

Lynn Sapadin's new role is Vice President and Director of Finance. She has thirty years of experience in finance and accounting with an emphasis in multifamily and commercial real estate and early stage investing. Lynn recently completed an assignment for Stanford University's Commercial Real Estate Group ($3 billion dollar real estate portfolio) to streamline financial reporting and review the departments financial and accounting controls. Previously, Lynn spent 12 years at Prana Investments where she managed financial accounting for thirteen multifamily investment funds during the time when the company grew from $50M to $560M in assets under management. She has also worked in finance roles at two Kleiner Perkins backed start ups, one in alternative energy and another in internet based video gaming. Ms. Sapadin began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an audit supervisor and is a graduate of San Diego State with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Matt Esh is Point Reyes' new Managing Director where he will focus on putting analytics into action in support of our super angel and real estate portfolios. Matt has a unique background spanning eighteen years of investment, financial modeling, strategic planning and business analysis experience. Most recently Matt designed and developed sophisticated planning applications at Chevron, including the one that is used to forecast its daily cash flow, which averages $1.5 billion in daily transactions. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of private equity backed HerbThyme Farms, where he led the company through three acquisitions and created operational controls and financial processes that helped to generate a 5.5x return on equity over a four-year period. He has extensive investment and portfolio management experience, having been a Wall Street equity research analyst and a private equity investment professional. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and received a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from Thunderbird.
