Policy and Industry Leaders Outline the Future of Entrepreneurship

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 15, 2007 --

WHAT: As established and emerging economies begin to close the
innovation gap with the U.S., EntrepreneurshipWeek USA is helping
to inspire and shape the next generation of American
entrepreneurs. The centerpiece of this initiative is a national
policy summit in Washington, DC on February 26, during which the
Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation will unveil a policy roadmap for
          an increasingly entrepreneurial economy.

EntrepreneurshipWeek USA Policy Summit speakers will examine the
most effective ways to promote new economic growth and
innovation, as well as lowering barriers for individuals to form
and sustain businesses that drive growth. The discussion is
continued in policy roundtables of government and industry
leaders on topics that impact entrepreneurship in the U.S.; the
topics include: immigration reform, education policy, health care
coverage, emerging energy technologies, intellectual property
protections, litigation and regulatory reforms, and minority

EntrepreneurshipWeek USA may be the nation's largest organized
celebration of entrepreneurship, with activities designed to
inspire, educate and prepare young people to consider
entrepreneurship and innovation in all aspects of their lives.
More than 1,000 organizations have joined as partners and are
