Polycom Deploys IneoQuest IT Monitoring Systems for Video Conferencing and Selects IneoQuest to Join ARENA Partner Program

Partnership Helps Polycom Improve IP Video Network Performance With Increased Visibility, Improved Quality and Reduced Costs

MANSFIELD, MA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2010) - IneoQuest Technologies, Inc., the global provider of advanced video quality and service assurance solutions, today announced it has joined the Polycom ARENA partner program to provide a real-time, scalable network monitoring solution for video conferencing and telepresence. In addition, Polycom is deploying IneoQuest's patented and patent-pending video monitoring technology across its global network for increased visibility into real-time calls and to improve quality, reduce costs and provide historic reporting. 

Polycom, a global leader in telepresence, video and voice communications solutions, initiated the ARENA program to allow software application providers, hardware device manufacturers, and conferencing solution providers to integrate their products with Polycom's industry leading voice and visual communications products to create new applications. In the past, IT centers could simply increase bandwidth in order to remediate small video conferencing issues; however, with the significant increase in video conferencing and telepresence adoption as a critical piece of business operations, companies now require the ability to ensure video quality, while also controlling operational costs.

The IneoQuest Integrated Telepresence Monitoring Center (iTMC) is the first solution to offer IT professionals real-time live video call and telepresence monitoring. For example, the system simultaneously monitors Polycom's live video conference and telepresence demonstrations 24 hours a day at more than 30 worldwide corporate and demonstration facilities, providing insight into the network's overall health to isolate issues and troubleshoot immediately. With IneoQuest's solution, IT operators, managers and CIOs can now see where calls are coming and going from live and at any time, as well as the length of call, complete call quality, bandwidth, network packet stats and how many calls are occurring throughout the network. With these products, Polycom is also now able to use historic call statistics to perform long-term trending analysis that can improve systematic issues and make better informed business decisions.
