Pool, GSU Reach Tentative Collective Agreements

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(CCNMatthews - April 5, 2007) - Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Inc. (TSX:SWP) ("Pool") and the Grain Services Union ("GSU") announced today that they have successfully negotiated tentative collective agreements covering the Saskatchewan-based operations/maintenance staff and head office staff. Terms of the agreements remain confidential pending ratification by the respective parties.

The Pool has approximately 150 head office staff and 550 country staff under the collective agreements.

The ratification process is expected to be complete by April 26, 2007.
