    • Online access, anywhere. Optimized for speed, the store allows for ultra-fast downloads; this means fewer clicks to purchase and download, delivering faster turnaround for game play. 
    • Game search functionality. Gamers can search by title or genre to quickly find the games they want; they can even find new games from their favorite publishers with dedicated publisher pages.
    • Fresh design. The clean, intuitive look and feel makes browsing for games a simple, enjoyable experience. Gamers can easily navigate between pages as they search for the perfect game.
    • Direct integration with Xbox LIVE services and a custom built Microsoft e-commerce engine, which allows users to see their gamerscore, avatar, and complete purchases with Microsoft points associated with their account, as well as see what games networked friends are also playing and have purchased.
    • Easier administration. POP designed and developed an experience that showcases an initial catalogue of 100 game titles with a custom importer reducing the need for manual entry. The content management system (CMS) allows Games for Windows to easily add supporting rich media.
    • A new game recommendation engine that allows the Games for Windows team to create "collections" of games based on tagging and in response to customer feedback
