Spil Games Extends Cross-Platform Offerings to Native Mobile Apps


HILVERSUM, THE NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2012) - Spil Games, the global leader in online gaming, brings its popular Shopaholic franchise to the App Store today with the release of Shopaholic World. The Shopaholic World launch leads the release of several other popular Spil Games desktop titles as native mobile apps.

With three sequels and more than 100 million gameplays in 2011, Shopaholic is one of the most popular game franchises on Spil Games' tween gaming platform, GirlsgoGames. The free-to-play game offers more than 800 items for dressing up characters across three worlds, starting with Paris, and with upgrades for New York and Hawaii available soon. Shopaholic World for iOS was designed to ensure iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone users experience a game tailored for mobile play, but with the same look and feel as the successful web version. The game is localized in 11 languages.
