The Porsche Club's Annual Car Show, 'Fast Planes, Fast Cars', Will Be Held In Ottawa On Sunday, 7 August, 2005 At The Canada Aviation Museum

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - July 15, 2005) - The Rennsport Region of the Porsche Club of America will hold its 11th annual car show at the Canada Aviation Museum, 11 Aviation Parkway, Ottawa, on Sunday, 7 August, 2005. All proceeds from the show, named Fast Planes, Fast Cars, will be donated to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau, a charity dedicated to the treatment of child cancer patients and cancer research.

The Club expects over 100 Porsches ranging from vintage classics to modern super cars and full-blown racing machines. In addition to Porsches, other vehicles such as Ferraris and other exotic cars will be attending by special invitation.

A donation of $6.50 per Adult, $3.00 per Child, or $14.00 per Family is required to attend the show. This is the same fee structure as the Aviation Museum, and also includes free admittance to the most extensive aviation collection in Canada and one of the best in the world. The car show will be open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

A "Tour of scenic Rockcliffe Parkway in a Porsche" will also be offered. The 10 minute tours will allow passengers to enjoy the unique experience of riding in one of the finest cars ever produced. The "Tours" will be offered from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, for a fee of $20.00, which will be donated to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau.

The Fondation Charles-Bruneau (www.charlesbruneau.qc.ca) brings over ten years of volunteer and partnership experience with the general public and the business community to the service of children with cancer.
