Post a "Personal Tribute" during Daffodil Month is Launched

Web Site offers people the opportunity to express their emotions

Attention: City Editor, Health/Medical Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Media Editor, News Editor TORONTO--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - April is Daffodil Month, a time for those of us who have lost a loved one to cancer to reflect on our memories.

Last September, Alan L. Simons, author of the book "Eighteen Months-A Loved Story Interrupted," launched the web site "Breast Cancer. In Loving Memory."

The primary aim of the site at the time was to provide a place for men who have lost a loved one to express their thoughts and feelings.

Now, in support of this year's Daffodil Month, Simons is offering men and women the opportunity to post a personal tribute to their loved ones in the form of a recollection, a poem or a quotation.

Simons says, "Post a Tribute is open to all." He adds, "I believe, especially at this time of year, many of us who have lost a loved one to cancer need a vehicle in which to express our emotions. Such a tribute marks the importance and contribution that person has made to our lives."
