SAN DIEGO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 19, 2007 -- Global Business Services Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GBNS)

Postal Connections of America (PCA), a rapidly growing franchise chain of postal, business and communication services stores, reports franchisee winners of top national sales and performance awards at its annual Franchisee Conference in San Diego. The Conference, attended by franchisees from across the country, featured industry developments, vendor products and services, and new Toshiba printing technology making Postal Connections stores a low cost and convenient source for copying, printing and document management. More than 100 people attended the franchisee meeting at the Handlery Hotel & Resort, January 27th & 28th.

The top award, Franchisee of the Year, was awarded to Gary Der, owner operator of a Postal Connections store in Modesto, CA. Franchisee of the Year is given to the owner operator who has contributed the most to improving their own store and the stores of other franchisees, helps to expand the number of Postal Connections stores network-wide, and is a leader in retail sales. Der won the 2006 top sales award for stores in business for two years but less than three and helped two other stores in the San Joaquin Valley with operations and marketing-one winning the 2006 top sales award for the first full year of business. Der's Postal Connections store is located at 3430 Tully Road, Modesto, CA.

Store of the Year was won by Jim and Elizabeth Bowe, owner operators of the Postal Connections in Lancaster, PA. This award is given to the store that runs a well-organized, clean and customer-friendly store that is active in the local community. The store also must be a sales leader. The Bowes' store also won the highest 2006 sales volume award for stores in business three full years. The Lancaster store participates in community charitable efforts and leads other Postal Connections stores in the Northeast Region with co-op marketing programs, group arrangements with vendors, and new store training. The Bowes' store is located at 1653 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA.

The Rookie of the Year was awarded to Anthony and Melinda Bolling of Washington, D.C. As new franchise owner operators, the Bollings have committed to aggressive marketing and built an attractive and comfortable store environment in the Capital City neighborhood. They have invested in technology delivering high quality, convenient printing, and document management services to customers. Online marketing techniques and community involvement have helped the Bollings put their store sales on a fast track. The Bollings' Postal Connections store is located at 7838 Eastern Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.

Top Sales Awards also were awarded to Richard Chinnock, Merced, CA, for 2006 highest sales by a store open one full year but less than two. Gary Der won the Top 2006 Sales Award for stores open two years and the Bowe's for sales by stores open three years. The Top 2006 Store Sales Award network-wide went to Pete Pierce, Bend, OR.

Recently ranked among the top six franchisors of retail postal and business services by ENTREPRENEUR Magazine, Postal Connections has a nationwide network of 90 locations sold or open in 24 states.

PCA stores offer packaging, shipping, mail receiving and forwarding, copies, printing, fax sending and receiving, notary, Internet access, and other products and services. Unlike many similar stores, PCA franchise stores feature shipping alternatives giving customers choices in prices and delivery times with all major carriers instead of shipping with only one service. Postal Connections of America is based in San Diego, and has been franchising stores since 1996. PCA is located at 1081 Camino del Rio, San Diego, CA.
