To enable any customer to create an online message archive and replace unreliable back-up tapes or unwieldy on-premise software solutions, Postini makes archiving services available in three packages: Basic, Standard, and Professional. The new archiving editions offer the following:

Postini's Message Archiving service can capture email and IM traffic in-line and is designed to enable customers to offload data from primary servers.
