POTG - Fitness Gurls Begins to Capitalize on Its Public Company Opportunities as Portage Resources

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Mar 15, 2016) - FG Fitness & Media Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Portage Resources (OTC PINK: POTG). For 5 years, FG Fitness & Media Group along with its flagship publication, and all of its ancillary products has been a private company. In 2015, it was time to move into the public arena and expand its opportunities to a more global audience. Management has produced over 19 issues of the Fitness Gurls Magazine with some of them as digital/limited printing issues and some of them have been sold in Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million and Hastings Booksellers in North America. Readers and followers have enjoyed the articles, design and beautiful photography, which has been a staple for the publication since its inception. Coming up on the publications 5th anniversary, management's goal is to expand the brand into a worldwide fitness marketplace.

According to Jason T. Miller, CEO, "We are have position ourselves as a very strong influencer in the health and fitness market and have developed a brand people trust and want to be a part of." One of the ways Management has established itself in the market is on social media. In 2015, Fitness Gurls Magazine grew their social media presence on Facebook from 300,000 to over 1 Million Followers and Readers today. Mr. Miller adds, "Having over 1 Million Followers gives us a reach on par with brands and publications that have been around 10 to 20 years longer than we have. I believe that's a testament of the Company's strength and the potential for the future. We look to take monetize our social media presence to brand and to add additional profit centers with our influence." 

"One of the ways you see this influence come alive was in February 2016, when the city of Medellin, Colombia along with the city's premiere fitness expo, Expo Fitness, invited Fitness Gurls Magazine and their 6 guest to showcase the country of Colombia and fitness in Latin America. The trip was paid for by the Expo and the city's Board of Tourism. Mr. Miller expresses, "This was a great trip for Fitness Gurls Magazine / Portage Resource. You see the hard work we've been doing pays off, and it's nice when you see even people from our countries taking notice the great potential of our brand."

In the coming weeks, the Company plans to do a name change to reflect the fresh new direction the company is taking, in a booming market. Mr. Miller says, "Health and fitness and longevity isn't a fad, people everywhere are starting to get serious about their health and wellness. This newly energized firm has many projects under development that will capitalize on this booming market… finally."
