Pound & Grain Launches Two New Websites for MEC

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 17, 2013) - Vancouver-based digital creative agency Pound & Grain Digital Inc. (www.poundandgrain.com), has worked closely with MEC to create two newly launched digital experiences, including the "We Are All Outsiders" brand campaign website and the digital "Outsider Journal". This work was done in close collaboration with Concrete, who developed MEC's new brand.

Outsiders.mec.ca is the central hub for MEC's newly launched "We Are All Outsiders" brand campaign, and profiles select MEC members, Envoys, and staff in a bold and visually compelling way. Featuring social media integration, the site displays curated content from MEC's Twitter feed.

The second project, Outsider Journal (journal.mec.ca) is MEC's next generation digital journal, and takes advantage of the web's ability to provide a rich immersive storytelling experience on various platforms and devices. An ode to backcountry enthusiasts, the Journal is the first of an ongoing series.

Built using responsive design techniques, the sites have been optimized to create a powerful brand experience across desktops, laptops, tablets, and various mobile devices.
