Power Air Receives Frost and Sullivan Excellence in Technology Award

LIVERMORE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 1, 2007 -- Frost & Sullivan has awarded Power Air Corporation (OTCBB: PWAC) the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Excellence in Technology Award for Emerging Technological Innovation for developing a Zinc Air Fuel Cell (ZAFC) powered generator that can be used indoors. This generator uses zinc as a renewable fuel source and enables the end-user to generate electricity safely and quietly without harmful emissions or greenhouse gas concerns.

Each year, the Frost & Sullivan Excellence in Technology of the Year Award is presented to the company that has demonstrated technological superiority within its industry. This Award recognizes the ability of the company to successfully develop or introduce a new technology, formulate a well-designed product family, and make significant product performance contributions to the industry.

"This Award is indeed an honor considering the broad range of qualifying U.S. companies that are developing emerging technologies," states Mr. Dean Haley, Chairman and COO of Power Air. Mr. Haley accepted the Award on behalf of Power Air at the 2007 Excellence in Industrial Technologies Awards Banquet hosted by Frost & Sullivan in Fort Myers, Florida, on April 25, 2007. "This Award recognizes the progress we have made in developing products for back-up power as well as the potential the technology has for a wide range of applications including portable, stationary, light mobility, and transportation."

Power Air is demonstrating the Generator today at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells 2007 International Conference and Trade Show at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The refuelable backup generator can operate indoors, safely, silently, efficiently, with extended run capability, and without harmful emissions. The zinc fuel is non-flammable, non-explosive, non-toxic and recyclable, offering an excellent alternative to fossil fuels.

"Frost and Sullivan has followed zinc air fuel cell technology and recognizes its immediate potential for back-up power markets," states consulting analyst Devin Castleton for Frost & Sullivan. "We have continuously tracked the progress of this breakthrough technology. ZAFC technology, combined with its competitive cost basis and abundant fuel represents a very impressive breakthrough in the back-up power industry. Power Air Corporation's clean, indoor generator can potentially revolutionize the power generation market as the ZAFC is a significant new technology being introduced into an already growing market."
