Robert Sweaney Leads New Manufacturing Operations to Introduce AMS Switchgear Within U.S. Market


RICHMOND, VA--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2014) - Anord Critical Power, Inc., a leading independent provider of critical power infrastructure to the global data center industry, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Robert Sweaney as Vice President of Operations and General Manager. Sweaney will oversee all administrative operations of Anord's new U.S. switchgear manufacturing facility in Richmond, Virginia.

Prior to joining Anord, Sweaney held the positions of President and CEO at Power Distribution, Inc. and Plant Manager for Kellogg American Compressors. Sweaney excelled in each of these prior organizations, helping to increase revenue, productivity and market share.

In addition to his corporate experience, Sweaney held the rank of First Lieutenant within the United States Marine Corps. Sweaney holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, with distinction, from Virginia Military Institute.
