PowerStream Extends Condolences in Death of Contractor


VAUGHAN, ON--(Marketwired - November 24, 2015) - PowerStream extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of the 25-year-old employee of PGC Services who passed away earlier today following an electrical contact incident that occurred on Hwy 7, just east of Dufferin Street, in Vaughan.

The tragic incident involved unintentional contact with overhead high-voltage electrical distribution lines by hydrovac excavation equipment being used by PGC Services to dig holes for new electrical poles.

The Ministry of Labour has been advised and is investigating this tragic incident. PowerStream`s Health and Safety department has also opened its own internal investigation.
