Poynt Corporation Engages Liolios Group to Lead Investor Relations Program

CALGARY, CANADA--(Marketwire - Aug. 22, 2011) - Poynt Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PYN) ("Poynt Corp." or the "Company"), a leading provider of mobile local search services, has retained the consulting services of Liolios Group, Inc. ("Liolios Group") to lead its investor relations and financial communications program in the United States, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Liolios Group is a Southern California-based strategic financial communications firm focused on small cap companies across a broad range of industry classifications. Founded in 1999, Liolios Group offers high-level capital markets consulting, strategic messaging and industry expertise.

In collaboration with Poynt Corp.'s management team, Liolios Group will develop, refine and help disseminate the Company's message to the U.S. investment community. Liolios Group will provide information to potential institutional and retail investors about the Company and its business and communicate on an ongoing basis with members of the investment community through conference calls and identifying investor conferences where the Company's management may be invited to attend, and targeting key influencers in the investment community. Liolios Group will also assist the Company in preparing and disseminating investor relations documents, materials and Company presentations including without limitation press releases, online communications and the Company's website.

Liolios Group does not have any interest, directly or indirectly, in the Company or its securities, or any right or intent to acquire such an interest, other than as disclosed below.

The agreement, which encompasses a 12-month initial term, is effective immediately and may be terminated by either party at any time with 30 days' notice. The Company has agreed to pay Liolios Group a monthly consulting fee of US$7,500 cash and will grant Liolios Group non-transferable options to purchase 1,500,000 common shares of the Company pursuant to the Company's Stock Option Plan and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
