PPN and Jamie Gold Amicably Part Ways

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Jun 30, 2011) - Just a few months after a deal was struck between Jamie Gold and owner Chuck Kidd, the parties have mutually agreed to go their separate ways.

"Chuck is a great guy, who made me an amazing offer which I gratefully accepted at the time," stated the 2006 WSOP Main Event Champion.

"The deal struck with Jamie Gold around the first week of April, and prior to Black Friday, included generous PPN online and WSOP monetary benefits attached to clear commitments," Kidd commented.

The parties tried to work through their differences, but at the end of the day, no deal could be structured to their mutual benefit. Out of respect for one another, with neither party wishing to bind the other to anything less than a long-term win/win situation, they came to this joint resolution.

"We were excited at the opportunity to embark on a new venture with the WSOP Champion," added Kidd, "but Gold was unable to fulfill his obligations as he has informed us that he will be embarking upon a new series of exciting poker sponsorships."

Both parties wish one another well in all their future endeavors.

Poker Pros Network (PPN) is a poker site on the Cake Network which has seen incredible growth since Black Friday and which should continue to do very well under the leadership of Kidd and his experienced staff assembled for PPN.
