PRACC Hosts Crisis Communications Workshop

NAPLES, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 10, 2006 -- At a time when bad news travels fast, businesses must have the right tools to deal efficiently with crisis. The Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising Professionals of Collier County (PRACC) will host the annual May workshop entitled "Effective Communications During Times of Crisis," at the Naples Hilton on Thursday, May 18. The workshop provides crisis communications techniques to keep your reputation and your cool during times of crisis.

Jonathan Bernstein, President of Bernstein Crisis Management, LLC and Dr. Lois Bolin, President of Success Fulfillment, Inc. will present workshops and Dan Summers, Bureau of Emergency Services Director, Collier County Government will be the featured luncheon speaker.

The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. with a Continental breakfast, followed by two workshops, a refreshment break, lunch and a bonus hands-on session to evaluate your business' crisis risk level. The perimeter of the conference room will display crisis-related information booths by local and national sponsors.

Open to all businesses and not-for-profit organizations, the half-day workshop fee is $75 per person and $65 for PRACC members. Tickets for the luncheon speaker and bonus workshop only are $45. Non-United Way not-for-profit organizations can receive a $40 partial scholarship from the Community Foundation toward the cost of the event.
