Practice Technologies, Inc. Hires Carey Ransom as CEO and Changes Name to RealPractice, Inc.

Company Headquarters Moves to Orange County in Preparation for Next Phase of Growth

SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) -  RealPractice, Inc., a leading provider of legal technology products and services, has announced that the company's name has officially changed from Practice Technologies to RealPractice. Additionally, the company has hired Carey Ransom as its CEO and has moved its headquarters to Santa Ana, California.

Mr. Ransom is an experienced Internet and software entrepreneur and executive, most recently he was Vice President of Business Development at Brand Affinity Technologies (BAT), a startup in the Internet advertising industry. Before that, he was Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development at WebVisible, a leading provider of advertising to small businesses, including law firms. During his tenure there, he led new partnerships with companies like AT&T and Microsoft and helped them significantly grow revenue by launching new lines of business. His background includes successfully launching and growing technology companies, identifying innovative ways to satisfy customer needs and building high performance teams. 

Mr. Ransom is an MBA graduate of the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, holds a Certificate of E-Commerce from Loyola University Chicago and has a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University.
