Pratt & Whitney Canada to Have Significant Presence at NBAA


LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(Marketwire - Oct. 3, 2011) - NBAA - Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) will have a major presence at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual meeting and convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. P&WC is a United Technologies Corp. company (NYSE:UTX).

  • Throughout the course of the event, the P&WC show booth (Hall N, no. 5633) will be staffed by engine experts and aftermarket consultants ready to answer questions from NBAA participants. Engines on display will include the PT6A, PW300, PW500, PW600 and the new PW800.
  • PT6Nation will roar into NBAA for the first time. Launched just last December, the microsite was created to leverage evolving social business networks and bring P&WC brand awareness to potential customers and industry partners. A special kiosk featuring PT6Nation will be located in the P&WC show booth.
  • Maintenance and overhaul (M&O) sessions will be held for PT6A and turbofan engines. (Please check the show agenda for more details.) As part of the turbofan session, a demonstration will be given on P&WC's new online PW300 engine diagnostic tool, powered by Spotlight.
  • There will be an invitation-only media breakfast held by P&WC executives on Tuesday, October 11. Representing P&WC and taking questions from the media will be:
