Predixion Software Debuts in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Advanced Analytics

Recognition Based on Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 24, 2015) - Predixion Software, a developer of cloud-based predictive analytics (PA) software, today announced it has been included in the 2015 Magic Quadrant for Advanced Analytics Platforms by Gartner Inc. This represents Predixion's first appearance in Gartner's Magic Quadrant, which we believe reflects the company's continued momentum in the marketplace.

The 2015 Magic Quadrant for Advanced Analytics Platforms cites the growing market for advanced analytics across various industries. According to the report, "Growing interest in applying the results of advanced analytics to improve business performance is rapidly expanding the number of potential applications of this technology and its audience across organizations. Rather than being the domain of a few select groups (for example, those responsible for marketing and risk management), every function now has a legitimate interest in this capability."*

"We believe our inclusion in the Magic Quadrant for Advanced Analytics affirms our vision to deliver real-time, predictive analytics directly to front line decision makers to improve business outcomes," said Simon Arkell, CEO of Predixion Software. "Whether in healthcare, life sciences, retail, manufacturing or the Internet of Things (IoT), our ability to get predictive insights where they are most actionable is the ultimate payoff for our customers."

Predixion Insight is an open, predictive analytics platform that is available either in the cloud or on-premises. Predixion Insight analyzes data from anywhere -- whether in a database, data warehouse, or in the cloud -- combines multiple data sources, prepares the data for analysis, trains predictive models and scores data in real time. One of the unique features of Predixion Insight is the open deployment mechanism that enables "deploy anywhere" flexibility so predictive analytics can be embedded into existing BI tools, dashboards, transactional applications, cloud services or even directly on to devices, machines or complex event processing (or CEP) systems. In this way, real-time predictive analytics are placed at the point of decision where those on the front lines can act to prevent negative outcomes or enable beneficial ones.

Predixion has doubled its employees in the last 12 months and raised more than $30 million from investors including Accenture, GE and EMC. Predixion currently has more than 200 customers worldwide using predictive analytics to improve the decisions they make every day.
