Preferred Share Conversion Comes to an End

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 1, 2007 -- Blackout Media Corp. (PINKSHEETS: BKMP) is pleased to inform its shareholders that the preferred share program to convert to restricted common shares has come to an end as of April 30th, 2007.

The total number of shareholders who converted their preferred shares to restricted common shares was a relatively small percentage compared to those who had the opportunity to convert but chose not to.
