Premier Alliance Awarded Largest Contract of Its Kind for California Steel Industries

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwire - Mar 7, 2012) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc (OTCBB: PIMO), a professional services company focused on business and technology advisory and consulting services and solutions, today announced that its recent acquisition and Energy Division, Greenhouse Holdings, has been engaged to implement Southern California Edison's (SCE) Automated Demand Response (Auto-DR) program for California Steel Industries, Inc. (CSI). Premier will implement Auto-DR and automation technologies inside CSI's 450-acre Fontana, CA facility. The project will be one of the largest energy management systems of its kind in the country.

The Auto-DR program offers significant financial incentives and technical support to Southern California Edison (SCE) customers willing to install equipment that enables participation in demand response events versus depending on their employees to perform all the curtailment activities manually when required. Normally, control systems (automation) are installed with the programming needed to achieve reductions in electricity consumption during peak periods of demand on the grid.
